Q: How did the tool function as far as saving you time?
A: The wrenches worked as designed and worked well for slightly rounded fasteners. Also because of their design, the wrenches didn’t slip off the fastener which could’ve led to busted knuckles.
Q: How has using this tool impacted your shop’s profitability?
A: They saved time removing damaged fasteners and allowed quicker turnaround time on repairs.
Q: What kind of setup was involved before using the product?
A: No setup was required or needed.
Q: How easy was it to use?
A: They were very easy to use.
Q: How was its packaging?
A: The set comes in a very nice organizer that folds in half. The organizer secures the wrenches and can be folded or left open to hold the wrenches up. The set includes sizes from 6mm to 19mm.
Q: What features did you like?
A: The shape and design of the wrenches are by far one of the best I have ever used. Just the feel of them alone exudes confidence. The open end is offset and aids in applying torque to the wrench. These have a tighter fit than a standard set of wrenches, allowing more torque without slippage.
Q: Is there any way you could think to improve or add to this tool?
A: No, the offset of the 90-degree open end and thicker, more robust box end design is well thought out and works excellently.
Q: What types of jobs/repairs did you use this tool for?
A: I used the wrenches for front brake work to aid in breaking free rusted caliper bolts that were heavily seized and slightly rounded from a vehicle owner attempting to remove them themselves in a tight area where the strut bolt interfered with a socket being used. I also used the set for oil change services and assembling components.
Q: How does this tool compare to other tools you’ve used like it?
A: I have used Snap-on previously, but I actually like these a bit more. The thickness and overall feel are immediately noticeable.
Q: Is there anything you had questions or concerns about in regard to the tool?
A: Nope, they work great.
Q: On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate this tool overall? Why?
A: Ten — The feel and design of these wrenches are excellent and in my opinion are a step above the Snap-on flank drive wrenches for feel and torque delivery. The smooth chrome and thickness of these wrenches where you grip immediately impress the user.
