DTCs U2100 and U2101 indicate that the module has not been properly configured per workshop manual DTC charts.

Check the repair history for any module replacement and verify the PMI (programmable module installation) has been carried out by starting a session using the appropriate Ford diagnostic tool with the original module still installed. Verify all adaptive learning and training procedures were completed.

If DTCs U2100 and/or U2101 are still present and the vehicle is supported by IDS , go to IDS>Toolbox>Module Programming>As-Built procedure.

Answer “NO” to configure the module. If the vehicle is supported by the Ford Diagnosis and repair System (FDRS), run the Module Configuration Application. Note that this also applies to numerous other Ford/Lincoln vehicles.
